Our story began long before we started franchising our own brands. It began as franchise owners — learning firsthand the rewards, challenges, and realities of building a business. Through years of experience, we discovered what strong franchise support should look like, and just as importantly, what was often missing.
Renew Medic evolved from Furniture Medic®, a former ServiceMaster® brand that started over 30 years ago. Over time, Furniture Medic franchisees naturally developed specializations. Some honed their expertise in furniture repair, while others became leaders in cabinet restoration.

In 2024, Renew Medic began with seven Furniture Medic franchisees who specialized in cabinet restoration. Along with TCB’s leaders, these owners saw potential for a monumentally scalable business model in the restoration industry.
